Forgotting all kinds of stuff |8:28 PM|
It occurred to me today that every moment that passes by, hundreds of memories are lost, probably forever. It starts in the morning, very quickly. Where did I put the toothpaste down, where did I put my jacket before I walked out the door.
From there, it gets into what was talked about that day, what I did to earn my living, to any sort of self education.

Of course, such minutiue should usually be forgotten, but I was dwelling on it today, and I dwell on it again here.

Found my religon while cleaning |8:26 PM|
While I was cleaning today, I found this in a drawer:

It's an old religous medal. Saint Brendan on his voyage across the ocean. I used to wear it everyday, all the time, taking it off only to shower. Since preschool until 8th grade, I had been in a catholic school. Confirmed catholic, I was a soldier of Jesus Christ, expected to carry his word unto the masses, or at least not yell goddammit when I stubbed my toe. Through most of high school I was a quiet catholic, who then began to question his faith. I had already left the standard church instiutions behind as hogwash years previously, but then I started to question if I believed in anything other Catholics did. Hell, Jesus, what have you.

One day I took off the medal, and never put it back on.

V-day can ram me in the ass. |2:17 AM|
Right-o. My last entry got interrupted by unscheduled viral attacks upon the lovely print servers. Like they need any help eating their own dicks.

I purchased PortalStar a non-valentine day gift of living flowers. Mums, to be exact. I'd have a picture but I left my camera in the dorm. Dammit.
She totally floored me by purchasing a stuffed, musical octopus. This cancelled my future plans of purchasing her a "pet" octopus for her birthday. I'll just have to come up with something else.
The musical octopus rules, and comes with a songbook. Alright, it's 2 songs, but they sound fine when played on the eight legs of the smiling guy. PortalStar referes to rubber cement as "That fart glue" due to its unnatural smell, and I thought that was worth mentioning. Usually it's me using odd terms at odder times.

I had more to write but I forgot it.
I had more to post but it's in the camera.

blah blah. Here's a link:

My left arm is an octopus catapult |9:18 AM|
Since the first time I mentioned this, it apparently got deleted, this is clearly the worst trailer for what will likely be the worst movie ever made.
Zombies....awful zombies. Right click, save as in order to view this monstrosity. It's 6 megs.
I'm at work, and as far as I can tell, it's just myself and the guy that works manufacturing. Yesterday two techs ended up being out sick, and I was still coughing like I was dying. I've got probably one dose left of this "Wal-Tussin", that should keep me going through the day. My boss claims sickness is a clear sign of irresonpsibility, but he's just as late to work today as I was yesterday. Too bad it means a lot more when I'm late.

Today is Not Valentines day. I don't need some damn
(Yeesh. Virus hit the damn print servers a while back, got interrupted. Will finish entry later)

That's funny |2:09 PM|
Strange how quickly the weekend can go by. I'll have to make a heck of an entry to cover this past one.
Friday was spent with PortalStar, who introduced me to Tai Kitchen, a fairly traditional Tai resteraunt on campus. The soup that we ordered was delivered in this strange contraption with a heating element (apparently napalm) still burning underneath it. Though it was useful for keeping the soup warm, I'm sure my eyes still bugged out of my head when this portable furnace was placed in front of me. Speaking of odd, fiery dishes earlier this week, I saw a group of people in a coffee shop playing monopoly with a fondue dish in the middle of the board. It struck me as odd to have boiling, flame-warmed food taking the place of the chance and community chest cards.
Saturday found me Ghost Hunting with Vorpal. After that harrowing adventure, we met up with some friends at this odd resteraunt/bar called "Bonedaddy's". The point of this bar appears to be enormous beer steins, and women wearing very little clothing. We ended up buying several of the beer steins from this place, and taking them to the party former marine Eric knew about.

Former Marine Eric then vanished to go make beautiful music with the party's hostess, while Vorpal and I got to serious...nothing at all. We ran into a woman calling herself a "peddler" who apparently no one really knew. Oh, and everyone that lived in that house worked at my former place of employment, which was sort of creepy. I had nothing to do with this, but some people managed to fill a couple decorative jars in the bathroom with urine. My reaction to this was a shocked disgust, with muffled laughter. Some people are fucking....weird.

Hostess done, booze drunk, and steins flaunted, I took Vorpal back home.
Sunday was spent recovering, and eating dinner with PortalStar's family, where I learned the art of violent lobster eating. Serves 'em right, giant sea bugs. PortalStar wants to live in a house with a lobster infestation, because you know those things are like cockroaches. Get a couple in a house, and blammo, the walls are filled with giant, creepy delicious bugs.
Punch a hole in a wall and there's dinner. If you can fight it into the pot.
