Mutter |8:11 PM|
It's always a drag when you wake up and see that it's 7 on the clock, and right as you start feeling good about the whole day being available you realize it's 7pm. Whoops.

Portal and I stayed up way too late last night watching movies, and she got a call this morning asking her to come into work early. Figures. They apparently need 300 cream pies made, and I wonder if despite the cost and time needed to make them if they're all just going to be thrown at people.
I drove her into work, headed home, and crashed out in bed. I was laid out from illness this friday anyhow, so it was probably my body recovering from that. (I can just hear Vid humming "Down with the sickness" if only as an excuse to make that Wah-ah-ah-ah noise).

Since the new car project has been delayed due to my negotiator leaving town for a week, this week I'll contact that machine shop so I can finally "go to prototype" on my invention. Seriously. I have their phone number, rates and everything. I'll have a large number of fantastically dangerous magnets in my house within the month. If I am found impaled against my fridge, crucified by tiny objects, know that it was for the best.

We're arranging the Vegas trip today, Vorpal and the rest of us, I mean. Should be interesting, turns out some bad ass folks whose names likely mean nothing to the average reader (Finagler, LTBS) are showing up. I wonder if LolitaHunterMachiavelliX will make an appearance? Doubtful.

I need to go get my camera back from Poker-Host Joe.

Actually posting. |1:02 AM|
Earlier this week I made a post called "Signs you may becoming emotionally unstable" but I thought it a bad idea to write something that made me sound...unhinged. But to hell with it. It's my goddamn blog. This was written before work, on one of the days I spent wallowing in a puddle of depression from the failure of my goddamn drugs. How Goth.

Signs you may becoming emotionally unstable"

Doorknobs bother you.

Given the choice between world peace and the ability to kill that tailgater behind you with your mind, it would be a tough call.

Getting out of bed in the morning becomes a near insurmountable task.
-After managing to get out of bed, you reward yourself with a quick nap, that turns out to last the better part of a weekend.

The sound of your telephone's ringer inspires a near violent feeling of rage.

You try to play music by bouncing your head off various parts of your desk.

You feel as satisfied with doing the dishes as if you had just witnessed your worst enemy hit by a bus, after which he cracked open like a pinata revealing a large cache of money orders made out to you.

The font used for the "SnugTop" logo on pickup bed caps is ugly enough to make you feel ill.

I was once again reminded that the difference between being familiar with the theory of lockpicking and practical experience (not to mention, proper tools) is signifigant. Locked out of my laundry room this morning, I could only look at the pile of clothes that belonged to me, sitting on the folding table off on the left. The windows were locked, and the door would not budge.

With the office closed, and my laundry room key turning out to be an extra mail key, I didn't have a lot of options. A pair of tiny screwdrivers allowed me to move two of the pins into place, but seeing as there were going to be about 8 pins and the first two had taken ages, I was better off throwing water onto the bricks to erode them away.

Anyway, this post is really just a reminder to me to pick up a new key and get that load of laundry switched over.
