I have just eaten a snickers bar.

Not because I was hungry, but because I had expended too much effort already hunting chicks for the new 404 page babe randomizer.

I desperately want some amphetamines coursing through my bloodstream. With any luck, I'll have them today. My doc called and the prescriptions are written. Oh thank heavens, get the door, pizza pizza.

Girls from 7-11 stay up all night, and I can't get a discount.

We in the office are raising sea monkeys.

Awesome. Sure, supersonic isn't all that impressive in this day and age, but they could have said "Rocket engine turns on, bakes cookies, does not explode" and I'd be happy.

Though I am overjoyed to hear about 2 men being charged with spamming, it did spark a debate in the office. Was this a violation of our free speech? Were we going to imprison men for merely being annoying? Now, my first reaction was "Sure, jail 'em for being annoying. In fact, people who tail gate me should be shot. And those protesters with the giant dead fetus pictures, yeah, lock 'em up with the sodomites. But if they come for the christians or the jews, I'll stand up for them, I know how that poem ends.

I have yet to see the Return of the King. I know, I'm a bad dork, but I would have had to go to a midnight show, meaning I'd be getting to work about 4 hours after it was over, leaving enough time for sleep to just get really tired. I'll see it this weeked. I did see the "Santa Land Diaries" which were amusing. (Such as a song about the joys of masturbation) The material was sometimes quite risque, and I wouldn't have thought twice about it if we hadn't dragged along my grandmother. She asked me what I wanted for Christmas, and I told her "Venture Capital". She chuckled, she may have understood.

I've been messing around with tiny emoticon animations.

Let's learn about the pangolin. |10:27 AM|
The PANGOLIN is a hairless mammal. It is not nearly as horrid or ugly as the naked mole rat, but it's still an evolutionary prank call.

A page of useful Pangolin info.
This woman has written a poem about the pangolin.

Images a plenty. |12:47 PM|
It's time again for camera clean up.

The damage I inflicted on that guys car, when he hit me, or I hit him. Whichever.

The damage to my vehicle. Goddammit.

Portal isn't a big fan of my car shaving. I only do it at intersections and stops, though.

Here we are investigating the weird thing (Photo is enhanced-ish) on top of the parking garage I used to like. Vorpal is either synch-ing his watch or belching loudly. Rissa looks towards the object, wondering "What is it venting?"

Last night I won a poker tourney netting me $50 in gift certificates to Fado's. It's an Irish pub in town. I took first, and it was free, so I think it was a good deal. Nice, friendly amateurs. The term, I believe, is "Berry patch".

I parked my car across 2 handicapped spaces, shooting for 3. I quickly moved my car. It was a Saturday, so don't get in a fluff.

I participate in my community, and make a Difference |11:37 AM|
Penny Arcade has been running a fund raiser for Seattle Children's hospital, buying games and toys for kids. I finally got off of my digital wazoo and bought something for them, as I'd been meaning.

I had a few requirements, such as "All one piece" and "Tough" and "Does not encourage stuff I wouldn't want my kids doing". That ruled out board games, puzzles, and some other neat things I would have bought if I didn't know that parts would almost certainly be lost and I don't want some poor tyke driven insane when he's 3 pieces short of completing a 500 piece puzzle during his treatment of leprosy or what have you.
I ended up trying for some doll that was 5 star rated for "Durability" and the user comments backed it up. Unfortunately they ran out of the last one right as I was trying to check out. Instead, I'm now buying some kind of single piece driving toy, the shipping on which almost equaled the cost of the toy.

I still feel my heart warm a bit. That might be this long sleeve shirt, though.

Anyhow, they got such overwhelming support for their efforts that they're having to take the wishlist down later today. It's not like many folks still read this rarely updated blog, but think of this as a "Heads up".

The last charitable act (Besides bleeding for the Austin Tissue Center, which I consider more cross training than some kind of charity) I performed with my checking account was for a cancer treatment fund. This guy I had never met, the brother of a woman who I only knew from a couple run ins and an online diary, had a fund up for his cancer. I donated as much as I could spare at the time, dedicating it a female friend.
I wonder what became of the money. I hope it found use.
