Great leap forward planned |10:40 AM| I've been working on some the front pages underlying bits. I've also been desperately trying to get cam portal code that doesn't blow total ass. I'm thinking I might just make the changes go through and then read the error logs/comment pages for where stuff is still broken.
This previous weekend I finally got to see "Evolution", which played out like Ghostbusters, with aliens. It's a good movie, and I'm curious as to how well it did in the box office. Oh, one thing I noticed, up until the end of the movie, there is only one death. The movie manages to keep a relatively high level of tension and interest without murdering piles of characters. A character in the movie is going for a position in the Phoenix fire department. From Sulzanti, I know that this test is incredibly difficult and brutal, and once I started thinking about that, I started noticing a lot more references to fire fighting in the film. Vorpal stated at the end "You get the feeling Ivan Reitman wanted to be a firefighter". After watching this film, I don't doubt it. I wonder how many horror movies take place in Arizona. 8 Legged freaks did, so did this film.

This week I need to build a costume. I've been forbidden from at least one party if I build a giant reaper costume, since it'll scare the animals. This is probably for the best, as the animals in question would likely tear whatever it was I made to bits. I've got some other ideas, but I may build that reaper one because someone challenged me to.

Work this week has been about as rough and busy as last week, but at least next week we won't be shorthanded. I wonder if I'll be allowed to declare the overtime from showing up early. Probably not.

I wonder how long it takes to drive from here to Savannah Georgia.
